In the autumn of 2006 we participated in a pitch for the design of the ADAA 2007 campaign. Together with our friends Paul Belilla from Paris, Amy Wang from New York and Sam Smelter from Minnesota we were able to convince Adobe`s judges of our concept. The result is a complete package: consisting of a poster, postcard, invitation and programguide. It relates to travel and reflects therefore the international character of the award.
The Story
Every year the Finalists of the "Adobe Design Achievement Awards" are invited to take part in the awards ceremony. Originally it was Amy Wang`s idea to pick up on this aspect as thread for the campain. When she told us about her idea we wanted to show her our visual concept of the "travelline" and did a rough sketch, reflecting the individual path of a Finalist by way of a single line. It was a big surprise that this would be the final illustration, which appears on all media.
