For the ADAA 2008 it was necessary to create a vivid, internet based viral campaign. The centerpiece of which is a live gallery, that simulates the real time arrival of submissions from applicants worldwide. We have also created a series of animations to spice up the award ceremony. We also very much enjoyed designing all print material such as posters and the program guide.
Cubes and Colors
The corner stone of our design is an isometric cube. Using this base we developed twelve isometric icons. Each of the particular categories was then given its own color scheme. Here we were attracted to this modular approach and to the simplicity of the icons as it gave us greater freedom when designing the many different elements of the campaign.
"Call For Entries" poster. We set off the text against the graphic since it had to be translated in more than ten different languages.
ADAA Live!
To meet the challenge of presenting a living, evolving competition we developed a database driven Flash application, which showcases all activity during the submission period in real time.

A coded raster in text editor is the foundation of the Flash application.
The controller enables the individual configuration of the Adobe "A". Seperate categories can be selected and a search function allows one to look for a particular artist. The navigation-tool with integrated zoom slider for the cubeworld. The colored bars represent the amount of submissions for each category.
The Widget
An interactive tool that neatly visualizes the state of affairs in the live gallery: for usage in blogs and community websites.
The Event
For the award ceremony we have also created name tags, buttons and banners as well as a program guide.
