CIMT stands for Cancer Immunotherapy. The association consists of researchers and physicists from the fields of clinical and theoretical medicine. The network provides an education- and informationplatform in the range of immunotherapy. In spring 2009 we were hired to develop a new Corporate Identitiy for CIMT.

The website
The new website is online since october 2009 at
www.cimtmainz.org. We put emphasize on a contemporary and not so stereotypicallymedical presentation. The site unifies different target audiences on one platform. It serves as contact point for CIMT members, sponsors, conference participants, industry exhibitors and research interested parties.

The Logoconception
We commenced with the smallest possible unit: the dot. In the field of immunotherapy, the dot acts as a marker for infected or diseased cells. Following these specifications we developped the two open, intertwined circles. In combination with Slimbach, a classic linear antiqua this results in the CIMT Label.

The Colorcoding
The communicational design focus was set on the annual meeting. The colorcoding assigns each year it's own fitting color. The conversion on different media such as banner, posters and nametags is scheduled for june 2010. There is still some time left, so stay tuned.
The CIMT business equipment: letter paper, business cards and envelopes. Stickers are located on the envelopes that can be positioned arbitrarily.
The Imagery
In order to ensure a consistent image aesthetic, black and white photos are used exclusively that can be colored in their respective color of the year. The analogue photography consciously conveys a certain authenticity, leading away from the clean, finedrawn imagery that we are accustomed to in medicine. These shots were taken at the research facility of the University Medicine of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz.
